When a young farm boy finds love unexpectedly, he does his best to protect her; a twist of tragedy entraps his life force as his body remains, blackmailed into service for her salvation.

Violent ends begin the cursed afterlife of the centurion who thrusts the final blow into Jesus Christ. Fallen angels attempt to flout his missions. Eulogy of the Centurion is the on going sermon of an immortal that ironically feels no longer alive and the commemoration of the losses he experiences.

Synopsis:

Hope is a powerful thing. How many of us have hoped for something so intensely, longed for it with such fervor, to the point of belief, only to have it dashed against the cliff hangs of fate? Hope can lift us up, excite us, enable us, implant the seed of pride, & than, tear us down. Broken promises, feelings of helplessness, & a loss of confidence in controlling a situation cause great disappointment and rebellion; acting rashly becomes the goal of the main character, throwing his will to the wind, what does he have to lose?

The premise of the story was fantastic. I would never have thought . . . about why the soldier stabbed Jesus in the side or what happened to him afterwards. I loved your descriptive use of color and the theory.
